The children's author David Walliams dropped by publishing house.
Acclaimed writer for children and comedian David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the publisher said: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was reached following an investigation into reports of inappropriate behaviour towards young women.
The firm did not confirm the motivations for this action, adding: "We do not comment on internal matters."
